Comfortable, spacious accommodation in the heart of beautiful Peaceful Bay.

Kaye’s Cottage is a welcoming, fully self-contained three-bedroom chalet, ideal for couples, families, hikers or friends looking for a relaxing getaway on Western Australia’s beautiful south coast.

Sleeping up to six guests, the cottage offers plenty of room to relax, with three separate bedrooms, a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen and a large front verandah – the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

A gas BBQ is provided, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed outdoor meal after a day exploring Peaceful Bay and the surrounding Great Southern region.

Beach, Fishing, 4WD Adventures and Magnificent Forests
Peaceful Bay is a wonderful destination for anyone who loves the outdoors.

For fishermen, the bay and surrounding coastline offer excellent opportunities for beach, rock, estuary and boat fishing, making Kaye’s Cottage a great base for a fishing getaway.

For 4WD enthusiasts, Peaceful Bay offers something that is becoming increasingly hard to find – the opportunity to drive along long stretches of spectacular beach and coastline, giving you access to remote fishing spots, secluded beaches and beautiful coastal scenery.

For walkers and hikers, Peaceful Bay is ideally situated for exploring this spectacular part of the south coast, including the world-famous Bibbulmun Track.

For families, it is hard to beat the simple pleasure of a holiday by the beach. Spend the day swimming, fishing, exploring the coastline or simply relaxing on the sand before returning to the comfort of Kaye’s Cottage.

And then there are the giant forests. Peaceful Bay sits between Walpole and Denmark in one of Western Australia’s most beautiful forest regions, surrounded by magnificent karri and tingle country. The famous Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk are within easy reach and make a wonderful day out.

Whether you come for the fishing, four-wheel driving, Bibbulmun Track, beaches, giant forests, a family holiday or simply some peace and quiet, Kaye’s Cottage makes a comfortable and convenient base from which to enjoy it all.

Peaceful Bay is approximately 30km from Walpole and 45km from Denmark, putting many of the Great Southern’s best-known attractions, including vineyards, wineries and magnificent restaurants, within easy reach.

Good to Know Before You Arrive

Kaye’s Cottage is self-contained, so we recommend bringing your groceries and other supplies with you, as the local Peaceful Bay shop carries a limited range.

Some local roads are gravel, so please drive according to conditions.

Mobile phone reception in the area is primarily through Telstra and can occasionally be unreliable.

Guests have complimentary use of the shared laundry facilities; please bring your own washing powder.

Smoking is not permitted inside the chalet.

Pets are not permitted at Peaceful Bay Chalets.

FREE WIFI (max 85 gb. per month) is provided with Excellent TV and Phone coverage available.

    • The above fees are levied for a max. of 4 (four) persons. An additional fee of $20 per night per adult or $10 per child (2-16 yrs) per night, will be incurred for extra persons. Babies (0-2 yrs) are free of charge.
